Bryson is a key leader at Arise and Shine church in Eldoret. Alongside his work for the church, he needs to earn enough to feed himself, his wife and three children. Like many people in Eldoret, this can be a daily struggle.
Bryson has experience and training in agriculture. Previously Touch Eldoret paid for Bryson to attend forestry and conservation training. In the future we hope to be able to provide him with the necessary resources and support to start his own agricultural business.
Bryson’s wife Naomy has nearly finished studying for a diploma in Pastoral Ministry. This qualification is vital as the government require all churches to be registered and have a qualified leader.
A few years ago, Naomy helped out at a clinic run by Touch Eldoret. She showed a natural empathy and aptitude for medical work and has expressed an interest in training to be a nurse, something desperately needed in the community.
